On this page we show our reproduction of the lounge chair and ottoman, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames. This reproduction should not be confused with either the Herman Miller or the Vitra versions of the lounge chair and ottoman, which are shown elsewhere on our web site.

Chinese white Eames lounge chair
The Lounge Chair and Ottoman, designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1956 is a modern interpretation of the traditional club chair, consisting of three laminated wood shells which are attached to metal elements on shock mounts. Soft, detachable leather upholstery sections attached to the wooden shells provide the comfort.

The leather upholstery of the Lounge chair is available in the three classic colours - black, dark brown, and white.
