Poul Volther designed this chair in 1964 and from the moment of its release, its unusual shape made it one of the most sought after modern classics. The Corona chair was the chair used by the heads of state in Europe at the EU Summit in Copenhagen in 2002.

The four upholstered shells are angled to provide optimum spinal support and seating comfort.

The metal spine of the frame, coupled with the organic shape of the molded pads combine to create an organic-looking echo of the human form.
